Businesses need a new approach to creating long-term value by looking at the impact they have from an economic, social and environmental perspective. This course provides a framework for you to identify a set of measures you can implement to achieve short, medium and long-term benefits from a social and environmental perspective while being conscious of financial sustainability. You will get an overview of the most pressing issues aviation is facing in sustainability and receive guidance and tools to map out the landscape and plan a realistic and achievable sustainability strategy. The strategy includes carefully laid out timelines and goals in order to position your business to meet all regulatory and pressing sustainability issues and to meet passenger and corporate expectations in the marketplace. This course will address a wide range of issues including carbon and water footprints, energy, regulatory requirements, environmental trends, alternative fuels, policy and reporting, stakeholder engagement, strategic marketing and communications, environmental management systems, partnerships and more.
