IATA State Safety Program (SSP) Implementation aviation training course

Learn how to develop, implement and maintain a State Safety Program (SSP) n compliance with the relevant ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), namely with ICAO Annex 19 and Doc 9859. An SSP provides the framework for a State to oversee aviation safety, including the effective implementation and oversight of Safety Management Systems (SMS) by service providers. In this course you will understand how to implement the four main SSP components: State safety policy and objectives; State safety risk management; State safety assurance; and State safety promotion. You will also learn how to put each component into practice and monitor its progress, in line with international obligations, ICAO’s USOAP audit requirements, and nationally established safety objectives.
