City Code Directory (CCD)

The City Code Directory (CCD) is the reference location code database for fare filing and pricing purposes. As established by IATA Resolution 011, the airline industry relies on CCD to ensure that fares are filed accurately and efficiently.

CCD contains the worldwide standard list of city codes and airport, country, province, state and territory names which are used by airline tariffs and reservations departments for computing tariffs, validating mileage distances and for filing fares.

It contains all cities contained in the current fares and rates resolutions, the Maximum Permitted Mileage Manual (MPM) and the Ticketed Point Mileage Manual (TPM), as necessary.
