The IATA Aviation Security Forum is a leading industry event that brings together key aviation security stakeholders from airlines, airports, government regulators, and airline and non-airline service providers from around the world to discuss emerging threats, regulatory developments, and best practices in aviation security.
The forum serves as a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing, focusing on topics such as threat assessment and risk management, global security standards, and strengthening industry coordination in response to evolving geopolitical and operational threats. IATA SeMS Technical Briefings
The IATA SeMS Technical Briefings are a series of online briefings aimed at providing participants with a clearer understanding of the underlying principle and intent of the Security Management System elements that should inform and underpin operational implementation and practice.
These briefings delve into the operational facets, rationale and considerations needed for organizations to implement the SeMS elements within their organizations and to ensure that organizational and operational processes are fit for practical purpose and not just to meet compliance considerations.
