Qatar Airways was the first airline in the world to undergo the IOSA audit in 2003, when the program was launched by IATA. Championing safety once again, it was also among the first to complete the Risk-Based IOSA, which focuses on safety risks, specific to the auditee, rather than applying a "one-size-fits-all" approach.
