The ISAGO Charter of Professional Auditors (CoPA) is a membership scheme for industry professionals to perform the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO). They are the only qualified auditors to conduct ISAGO audits.

Become a CoPA auditor

ISAGO auditors are key in the success of the ISAGO program. CoPA auditors need competence in auditing, ground operations expertise and experience dealing with cultural differences. CoPA membership is renewed annually, subject to training, auditing experience and performance assessment.

CoPA qualification process

  • Step 1 – (Online) Application & Initial Assessment
    Minimum education, operational and auditing experience
    Pre-screening and IATA interview
  • Step 2 – ISAGO Auditor Training
    Combination of E-learning modules and Classroom or Virtual-Instructor lead training
  • Step 3 – Evaluation Audit
    On-site evaluation and IATA assessment
