How to Participate:

 

  • Submit your idea: Create a brief (1 minute / 60 second) video describing your innovative proposal (concepts, prototypes, or newly developed products) and its potential benefit to air cargo logistics.
  • Highlight key benefits: Explain how your idea is meant to solve existing industry challenges and address digitalization, sustainability, safety, or security industry objectives.

Criteria & Terms

 

  • Elevating Air Cargo is open to all – startups, companies, individuals and members of a team are all encouraged to share their innovative ideas with the air cargo community.
  • No Purchase is necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited.
  • To enter the Elevating Air Cargo session, Entrants must register their interest during the Registration Period by:
    • Providing their personal details at iata.org/innovation-showcase (the “Competition Webpage”);
    • Submitting a short (1 minute / 60 second) video describing their innovative idea.
    • Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their contact details submitted to IATA are correct. Entrants may forfeit their right to participate in the event should their contact details be inaccurate or incomplete.
  • IATA is committed to protecting and respecting Entrants’ privacy and will only use personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and IATA's Privacy Policy.
    • By entering, Entrants agree that any personal information provided may be held and used by IATA or its agents and suppliers for the purposes of the WCS 2025 panel session.
  • By providing a submission, Entrants represent and warrant that the Submission is an original work of authorship and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If the submission infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, the Entrant(s) will be disqualified at the sole discretion of IATA. If the content of the entry is claimed to constitute an infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, the Entrant(s) shall defend or settle against such claims at its expense. The Entrant(s) shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IATA from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which IATA may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.
  • The submissions will be voted on by the air cargo community, and the most popular submissions will be invited to participate in the Elevating Air Cargo panel session during the WCS 2025 Closing Plenary.
    • As invited speakers, the participants will be provided with a complimentary WCS pass.
